USFans Clothing Size Guide: Measurements, Size Charts and QC
Research clothing sizes through the USFans Spreadsheet using garment measurements, listing charts and warehouse QC instead of relying only on S, M or L labels.
Why the printed size is not enough
Two garments marked Large can have different chest width, length and sleeve measurements. Seller charts may describe the garment, the body or an approximate recommendation. Before ordering clothing found through the USFans Spreadsheet, compare numbers rather than assuming your usual retail size will fit.
Measure a garment you already own
Lay a similar item flat without stretching it. Record chest width from pit to pit, body length from the shoulder, shoulder width, sleeve length and waist width where relevant. For trousers, also record rise, thigh, inseam and leg opening. Keep the units visible; centimeters and inches are easy to confuse.
Read the source chart carefully
Open the live source from the Spreadsheet and identify whether the chart gives flat garment measurements or body measurements. Look for tolerance notes such as a possible one-to-three-centimeter manual measurement difference. If the chart is an image, save it with the source URL and date because sellers can update listings.
Choose by intended fit
A hoodie intended to layer over a T-shirt needs more room than a fitted tee. A cropped jacket uses different proportions from a standard outerwear piece. Compare the same garment type and think about shoulder shape, fabric thickness and whether you prefer a relaxed or close fit. Brand labels and familiar model names do not replace measurements.
Use warehouse photos for visible checks
Ask for a tape measurement when a critical dimension is missing. Check that the photo starts at zero and follows the garment edge. Compare the received color, size tag, front and back, sleeves, closures and visible damage. The QC checklist helps you document the review before international shipping.
