From Reddit, YouTube or TikTok to USFans: Verify a Product Find

Social posts create interest, not a complete order

A short video can show a sneaker from several angles, and a Reddit comment can provide a W2C link, but neither guarantees that the current source still sells the same option. Social content is useful discovery evidence. The next job is to connect it to a live source, selected variation and warehouse inspection plan.

Capture the evidence before links disappear

Save the post URL, creator name, publication date, screenshots and any product code. For YouTube, note the timestamp where the item appears and check the description as well as pinned comments. On TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, distinguish a profile link, affiliate redirect and actual item source. Redirect services can expire or send users to a different listing.

Read Reddit comments as questions to investigate

Common Reddit requests include “W2C?”, “how long to warehouse?”, “what does shipping cost?”, “is this link dead?” and “which batch is better?”. Treat each as a research prompt. A comment is not proof of price, quality or delivery performance. Open the link yourself and keep the source item ID so you can recognize redirects or replacements.

Match the find inside the Spreadsheet

Search the USFans Spreadsheet using the product type, model words and color rather than pasting a full social caption. Compare image details and IDs. If there is no exact match, use the closest records to identify useful category and seller terms, then search the live source separately.

Check the three-link chain

1. Discovery link: the Reddit thread, video or social post.
2. Research link: the Yupoo album or saved Spreadsheet record.
3. Orderable source: the current Taobao, Weidian, 1688 or supported seller link submitted to a buying platform.

Keeping these links separate prevents a polished album photo from being mistaken for the exact unit that will arrive.

Prepare a useful request

If you ask the community for help, include product type, color, approximate size, destination and the links already checked. “Need shoes” is too broad. “Looking for a black low-profile running shoe, EU 43, with a live source and warehouse measurement photos” gives people something concrete to answer.

Once the source is confirmed, follow the USFans Spreadsheet workflow. Select the exact variation, save the order reference, wait for warehouse photos and compare packed shipping options. Do not reuse a creator’s old shipping total as your estimate; route, destination, weight and season may differ.
